Gears Of War 2 - Xbox 360 Necessity!

Last year there was a game that became an instant hit and would more or less be one of the top 10 games any true gamer would have. That game was called Gears Of War. The game is based on the familiar theme of soldier versus multiple alien types. A similar theme for many games starting with one of the original shooter games, Doom. This year Microsoft re-vamps its already excellent game, and introduced Gears of War 2!

While many gamers have complained that Gears of War 2 gameplay is simply more of the same from Gears of War, we would like to agree, but point out how excellent the Gears of War game was! So we welcome more of the same!

We are talking fantastic story mode, awesome graphics, sweet gameplay, cool multiplayer, plenty of gore, and the hordes of aliens are killer, literally! But that is not all! The storyline is far more important in Gears of War 2. I guess you can say that they took the success of Gears of War and refined in almost every aspect!

In fact, the storyline is so important, many have opted to get Gears of War 2: Last Stand Edition Strategy Guide (Bradygames Signature)


Microsoft scores with this one! Unfortunately only played on Xbox 360. Gears of War 2 is rated Mature (17+) due to its blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language (although overall the dialog is lacking). It sells normally around $59.99.
